I had the best time at the team sorting, located at Rancho Rio Stables in Bakersfield. It was the first buckle series for the Central Valley Horseman Association (CVHA). It was a gorgeous day, with just a light cloud cover.
Congrats to the winners. Very impressive!

What do you do when all the photos you took come out gorgeous? I mean this family is to die for. Look at that baby. Look at dad. wow look at mom. I didnt know who to focus on, such a dilema that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!
So now my challenge it to pic just a handful to put on the blog from their online gallery. I have to admit I have been dragging my feet on this since Thanksgiving. Trying to pick is so hard plus I got sick Thursday night, my friend calls it the Turkey Crud, ha ha. So on my feet and catching up today.

Sweet Baby Camden decided he had enough and wanted to know what the “real” world was like, so he surprised his mom and dad 2 weeks early.
Not to worry, they had been prepared for months, yes they are the planning type (wish they could rub off on me… just a little).

Had to share a sneak peak at todays shoot with sweet baby Camden. You might remember Mike and Shelleys Maternity session, here is the little miracle.
Yes its that time when all of the local photographers get together and chit-chat. This was our second annual awards night and we did a Cliquees. A version of “The Offices’” Dundee awards. We all met a local railroad track and shot for about an hour, then headed over for dinner and FUN! We all got cute and entertaining awards. When Mike and Shelley asked me to do their maternity photos, I was honored. As the day grew near the forecast grew dim. Chance of thunderstorms, a chance-ahhh it will never happen. As soon as we got to our first spot the sky opened up and we had to wait in the car for it to let up. I am not talking oh hey its raining, I am talking, wow I am going to get soaked if I go out there. We ran out when it let up to a drizzle and got the most amazing shots. The lightning and thunder was all around us, it was so insane. They were troopers and didnt let anything get in the way of their special day. Wow what great parents they will be. They truly are blessed and I wish them all the luck and happiness with baby Camden Lee.

WOW, what a gorgeous wedding. Andy and Andi were so much fun, a total match made in heaven. While taking photos I asked them how they were going to address when someone calls and asks for “Andy”…they said they are just going to roll with it. And then started laughing. I feel very sorry for the telemarketers that should be assigned their phone number.
